To begin with, Victrola is not Audiophile Standard. What sounds good is what sounds good to the listener. Victrola products are consumer priced and are designed to be both enjoyable and affordable. I have collected records since roughly 1962 and I have a house full of of “Victrola” products. If your budget will allow Bang and Olefson go for it, but for mortals like myself who do our impersonation of Nipper and who just dig our tunes then I say “Viva Victrola”! Who say’s you have to be a tech snob to have fun?

Good points!
